Events

High School and Junior High students may participate in Academic matches throughout the year. The High School Academic season runs from October to December. Matches are played after school in participating Districts. Students enjoy the Academic Competition and are exposed to many interesting facts and higher level thinking skills. 

The Brown County Art Exhibit is an annual event. Teachers throughout the Districts are encouraged to enter students art work for the fair. The art work is displayed at Southern Hills Career Technical Center for a week and judged. Students receive ribbons and trophies for their work. 

Brown County students may participate in the Brown County Science Fair. Students in grades 3-12 are encouraged to enter. Top students will receive ribbons and trophies for their projects. This event helps students learn the Scientific Method through hands on experimenting.
